Resurfacing + Wedding at the Ritz
*Deep breath* Break-time. Two weeks before our next wedding. Got a massage, feeling reinvigorated. Not that it’s been slow around here – quite the opposite. We’ve been busy catching up and getting ready. Anybody who’s been by the shop will notice that there are some new faces around here. The wonderful Michael Ann has been helping us out with weddings. Maggie & Stephanie have joined us part-time. And my super sister, Edith, is lending a helping hand most Fridays and Saturdays through the summer. It’s a lot to keep up with, all this change.
Enough talk, I know you’re just here for the pretty pictures!
We lined all of the footed bowls with grey-green hosta leaves. The silver shimmer was a surprise bonus.
Centerpiece close-up. Ashley’s colors were purples with pops of raspberry. We used cool water roses, lavender freesia & lisianthus, purple stock, violet carnations (yes, carnations – they can be pretty!) & sweet pea, and bright raspberry peonies.
A blurry, running-out-the-door shot of the bride’s & bridesmaids’ bouquets.
That chandelier is GINORMOUS. I was not prepared for it.
FYI, the lighting in the Ritz ballroom is not conducive to producing good amateur photography.
