Lauren & Jonah | Wedding at the John J Audubon Center
We feel so privileged to have been able to do so many weddings at the John J Audubon Center this spring wedding season. It is such a spectacular and rustic venue. The fun part is that it feels like a different venue with each wedding we do!
Lauren and Jonah’s wedding was such a joy to do because of the great vision the couple had. They wanted to work with the rustic nature of the Audubon Center, but add touches of sophistication, by way of the beautiful spring peony.
To frame the location of the ceremony, we filled barrels with curly willow with coral peonies wired on for a splash of color.
It was so much fun to have so many weddings this year that incorporated lush and colorful coral and blush peonies. Lauren’s bouquet consisted of these beautiful peonies topped off with dusty miller, wrapped in a beautiful burlap wrap.
The darling bridesmaids’ bouquets consisted of coral peonies with the addition of blush peonies and dusty miller accents.
Lauren and Jonah provided their own vases, which added a very personal touch to all of the centerpieces. The main colors of the centerpieces were green, white, and cream, accented by pops of red, blush, coral. The arrangements contained an array of peonies, stock, garden roses, lisianthus, and dusty miller in milk glass vases and mason jars.
