For a Good Cause
Sometimes, our lives are so full that we forget to take the time to tell our friends and family that we love them. I want to introduce you to my dear friend Tovah, who’s mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis twelve years ago. This is what she has to say:
“When my mother told me 12 years ago that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, it was a huge shock. The website of the NMSS was one of the first resources I found, which helped me to understand MS and what it would mean for my mom. Multiple sclerosis is a degenerative disease, which can cause a loss of mobility, fatigue, visual problems, numbness, and more. It’s not clear what causes MS, although there is a genetic component. There are drugs available to help control MS, but there is no cure. Currently my mom is doing well, but it’s an unpredictable disease. I walk so that the NMSS can continue to support individuals with MS and fund scientists in search of a cure.”
In support of her cause and because I love her very much, Falls Flowers will be donating 10% of all sales for the week of April 4th to Tovah’s Walk MS team. I hope that you will join us!
