The wedding of Alyssa and Joshua at the John J Audubon Center showcased the very best in springtime flowers. The lush array of peonies and garden roses with touches of dusty miller made for such a romantic atmosphere.

We are so fortunate to have the beautiful pictures taken by the wedding photographer, Jenni Maroney.

A slightly mussy wildflower wreath was hung on the magnolia tree to serve as the focal point under which the vows were exchanged by the bride and groom.

Two smaller versions of this wreath decorated the entrance doors to the barn where the reception was held.

Alyssa’s bouquet included coral peonies, viburnum, ranunculus, Sarah Bernhardt roses, and dusty miller. A dreamy cast of actors, especially when put together in one show, don’t you agree?

The cream bouquets of the bridesmaids beautifully contrasted the bride’s colorful bouquet.

One can see the touches of whimsy in the boutonniere’s embellishments of a fiddlehead fern and succulent.

Congratulations to Alyssa and Josh as you embark on your new journey together!
