A Brandywine Wedding
Last Friday we had the privilege of designing the wedding bouquets for a gorgeous wedding at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine in Delaware. Since the ceremony was during Lent, the couple wisely chose eggplant and cream colors to match the church’s Lenten decorations. The bride carried a luscious bouquet of eggplant ‘Schwarzwalder’ calla lilies accented with seeded eucalyptus, fern, and galax. Her ten (10!) bridesmaids carried beige-y pink Sahara roses and green hypericum berries, also accented with seeded eucalyptus, fern, and galax foliage.
Bouquets waiting to go.
Altar arrangements at the church filled with hydrangea, hybrid delphinium, Escimo and Sahara roses, eggplant callas and greens. (Please excuse the poor photo quality. Cell phones are a terrible replacement for real cameras!)
